After months of planning for the International Cheese and Dairy Awards, the 2026 event has now come to a close. Bradbury’s staff, customers and suppliers came together to embrace a joint love of cheese and the dairy sector.
Wednesday morning began with our staff helping to judge and steward the awards, enabling them to expand their knowledge of the sector even further. Once the judging came to a finish, staff rejoined the stand where we had 20 suppliers showcasing their finest products.
Garcia, who supply their Manchego to Bradbury’s, have recently collaborated with La Maritxu, a basque cheesecake company based in London. They have combined Manchego cheese into their recipe, leaving a delicious, rich and creamy dessert that was a sure star favourite. Garcia also won 6 Gold Awards, including two awards for their Pedro Jimenez Washed Manchego.
Onetik walked away with 9 Gold Awards including ones for their Bleu des Basques Chevre, Ossau Iraty and Couer Basque.
Bradbury’s Innovation Team showcased some new products including Cheesedogs, the perfect vegetarian alternative to a Hot Dog, and Paneer with a spicy seasoning. Protein M Quark Bars were also showcased, a brand-new innovation incorporating cheese and chocolate, resulting in a high protein and high collagen on-the-go bar. Available in three flavours: Strawberry, Vanilla and Chocolate.
Bradburys won six Gold Awards for their individual cheeses including two waxed cheeses and two smoked cheeses. Our camembert also won a gold award in the Best French Cheese Camembert category. Airline Business Class Cheese Category specifically designed for travel was also won by Bradbury’s.
Bradburys won two Gold Awards for their Cheeseboard creations which were created by Marion and Rebecca, both part of the sales team. We also won another Gold Award for our Cheese, Pretzel and Rice Chilli crackers selection box.
Zappala won the Dessert Cheesecake category with their delicious Lemon Ricotta Cake, a fan favourite in the Bradbury’s Office!
CB Foods won three Gold Awards for their remarkable Vernieres Roquefort Black Label. It won in categories Sheep Milk Blue Cheese, Sheep Milk Cheese and Best French Cheese.
